How to get to El Nido

The closest airport is Puerto Princesa International Airport (PPS) on Palawan Island.  You can take a direct flight from Manilla.

Taking a taxi would be the most expensive option but certainly the fastest.  Going by bus takes a little longer and taking a minivan ride is the cheapest option.

We would recommend checking with your hotel or resort first, as the El Nido Resorts Airport Pier is also on the island with access to certain resorts.

How many days do you need to spend in El Nido

We would recommend anything between 3 to 4 days. This is considering the long commute to get to El Nido, and the fact that you might want to enjoy some hotel or resort- time as well.  There are lots of sight-seeing opportunities and you just have to do some island hopping.  However you can combine fabulous tours and book multi-day, ready-made holiday packages to explore and experience Manila, Puerto Princesa, Port Barton, and El Nido, Palawan.
