When traveling to any destination near water, make time to look for the jetty. Often it is the perfect place to take stunning photos. Anything from sunsets to candid moments.
To make a list of the Top 10 Most Beautiful Jetties in the world, would be a sin. Almost each one across the world has their own special qualities. And it all depends on your preferences when it comes to deciding which is the most beautiful. But let’s look at a few fab jetties:

At the Busselton Foreshore Parade in Australia, you’ll find the Busselton Jetty. This jetty is the longest timber-piled jetty in the Southern Hemisphere at 1,841 meters long. They started construction on this jetty in 1864 and the first section was opened in 1865.
Sellin Pier in the Baltic seaside resort of Sellin on the German island of Rügen has a beautiful and romantic restaurant over the water.
Any jetty you can find on Wörthersee (lake) – a popular tourist destination in the southern Austrian state of Carinthia. This beautiful spot has many places you can visit and venture out to.
I could spend my days just sitting here and looking out onto the water.
In fact, any jetty on any one of Austria’s beautiful lakes, are worth visiting and spending some time. Think of places like Wolfgangsee, Hallstätter See or Lake Hallstatt, Traunsee, Lake Constance or Bodensee, Obertrumer See and Ossiachersee or Lake Ossiach to name just a few.

Here again, it is true that no matter where in Canada you travel, when you come across a jetty on one of the beautiful lakes in Canada, it is worth spending some time.

Well, Texas is known to have the biggest and best of everything, so you can’t be surprised to see Texas first on the list. Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier is an amazement park built on a pier in Galveston, Texas in the United States. This is waterfront fun and entertainment like no other.
It might not be a quiet spot to visit, but it sure is a family-fun place to visit.

We’re no experts on the difference, so forgive us if we use “pier” instead of “jetty” or the other way around. 🙂
